A solution to hot food becoming cold on the plate

Fall Season Plate Warmer

I love when the cool weather in fall starts to arrive.  This is the perfect time of year to warm my Dining Stone in the oven.  I begin to make hearty casseroles again, chunky soups, spicy chili, and roast with potatoes and carrots!  All of these foods taste better while they are warm, so I place my stone in the oven at least 30 minutes before I serve the meal.


When I am ready to plate my meal, I remove the hot stone from the oven, set it in the wood tray holder, and then place my plate of delicious food on top to radiate heat all during the meal.  Even the last bite is warm!  I can take my time eating which is always a good thing.  I have heard it takes about 8 minutes for the stomach to recognize that it is full, so the slower I eat the less I eat!
